I use MS-Word several time a day and found a problem with bullets and numbering. If we are using bullets/numbering in our documents and press Enter to write new point than the first letter (starting letter) of the point must be capitalized automatically as this facility is present in previous versions of MS-Word but in MS-Word 2003 it is not available. Let me show you through an example.

3. third point of example.

At point no. 3 letter ‘t’ must have been capitalised automatically which didn’t happens.

If anyone of you knows the solution please update me.

From last two months I am making comparative reports related to costing of material in MS-Excel. I have used many mathematical formulas and found that it possible to display a cell value with or without decimal value even if cell contains the result of some formula but if you use the value of this formula as a whole (without decimal value) in calculation with some other cell the result will be calculated taking in consideration decimal values also. Let me shown you an example

Cell A1 = 1012 * 0.6 (with decimal value the result will be 607.20)

Cell B1 = 15

Cell C1 = A1 * B1 =  9108

Use of 2 decimal point

The value of C1 is 9108 when you use 2 decimal points

Without 2 decimal point

The value of C1 is 9108 when you use 2 decimal points

In both the cases the result is same.

While in actual calculation if we calculate 607.2 * 15 = 9108 and 607* 15 = 9105.

I think it is a loophole in MS-Excel if anyone out of you knows the solution, please mention.

From last few months I have seen many music, game and other competition shows on TV like Wheel Smart Shrimat, Airtel Desh ki Awaaz, Close-Up Music, Musti, Musti or Dhoom etc on DD National. One common object in all these programs is that they are associated with some Brand/Product/Company. A good prize in form of money/gift is also given to winners from sponsors. Now the viewers participation has been launched in form of viting through SMS or phone which increases program popularity tremendously. Actually companies are doing advertisement & marketing of their products with the help of these TV shows and it is very much successful also. Although it requires good amount of investment but it is worth because TV shows have entry into everyone’s home. Advertising of product reaches to every home.

With this concept viewers aware got increased about product and participants get chance to appear on TV plus gift to the winners so benefit to everyone concerned.

Advantages of testing

• Developer finds out the bugs, errors in the code written by him/her.
• The product / software give better result in implementation after testing
• Testing reduce risk of your invested money on software.

Disadvantage

• Takes lots of time and sometimes creates rotating cycle between development phase & testing
• Tedious jobs

Yesterday BSE Sensex was down by 833 points closed at 16630 one another biggest fall in history of market. The much awaited Reliance Power IPO listed in NSE at a price of Rs. 530/- touched high of Rs. 590/- and rolled down in minutes and closed at Rs.373/-. The predicted price range for this share was Rs.600-900 but the listing price of Rs.530 sent a negative shock wave in investors. The whole market was down due to Global cues. Investment Experts suggest that investor should not book the looses and wait for the stability. It is expected that market will further move down between 14500 – 15300. In last week Real Estate firm Emaar MGF & Wockhardt Hospitals pulled back their IPO offering from the market due to poor response. Here i would like to mention that since the time Reliance Power IPO came into market all the major/reputed shares like ONGC, SBI, NTPC, RPL, RCom etc. are down due to slow down in USA economy (the biggest economy in the world) and other global cues. In next 3-4 month market will recover and so the Reliance Power will also recover.

Government will definitely complete its duties in the budget and look out that investors interested is protected.

Today I think market will open at move upward in starting sessions.
