Actually we all talk, discuss and highlight issue of corruption in Indian system but their is no movement or campaign is started where a group of initiators shows the example of fighting against corruption.
I think a website should be started by some good peoples/NGO/Government/private company where peoples can join free and city wise meeting must be called and every participant/registered user must be motivated that he/she will not pay bribe and highlight the problem in common meetings. The well-being of its members must be ensured and also steps should be initiated to get his/her work completed.
Here i would like to mention the example of http://www.jaagore.com. Another website is http://myidea.co.in where everyone can express his/her own views about the same.In addition to these websites we should also hold meetings and provide support for solution faced by common man when he fought against corruption.
In simple words we can say that ‘Awareness is the key to solution’, ‘Motivation will lead to Action’ and ‘Society support will solve the problem’.
From last few days Ex-Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee is admitted in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) due to infection and currently on ventilator. Doctors says that his condition is stable but due to problem in breathing and infection in lungs he is on ventilator.
I wish him speedy recovery.
Happy Republic Day to every Indian. I salute our National Tricolor flag "TIRANGA" and salute to martyrs and say East or West India is the Best. I proud to be an Indian.
Recently I received a mail containing speech of Former President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam regarding Power saving. Following are the contents : Please read and implement the steps in your office
Dear ISC Members,
I am presenting a article which came to me in my office email id regarding the Power Saving speech given by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. I am writing this resource as it.
a Think Green Initiative
Be the Change you want to see!
To all those who do not TURN OFF their PCs, ACs & Lights before leaving the office….
Most of use from the IT field do one thing before leaving for the day from office, Press CTRL+AL+DEL and leave happily. That means your PC is still ON.
One Normal PC in Sleep Mode (Hibernation) will consume 35Watts/hour. Based on this let’s do a small calculation.
For One week, 24*7=168 Hours. Of this if we consider that we are working for 68 hours, then the PC is in Sleep Mode for 100 hours a week.
For one month, 4*100=400 hours. In a normal IT office, if we assume approximately 250 PCs are there, 250*400=1,00,000 hours (Sleep Mode), So power wasted in an office in a month is 1,00,000*35=3500KWH or units. If the charge per unit is Indian Rs 6, then totally the wastage value is approximately Indian Rs 21,000.
Here the sad thing is not the money loss to the company but the power loss to the country. (Hope no company bothered about this procedure of keeping the system in sleep mode)
Apart from the loss to the country, we need to think of the efforts people are putting for producing the power in Mines, Thermal Stations, Hydro Electric Stations etc. If this is to continue, the cost of unit will go up, at one stage, we will not get power even if we are ready to pay any cost.
So, before leaving office, take some time to shut down the PC and do some favour to the COUNTRY and the organisation.
If you feel that this point is to be considered, forward this to all your friends.
**Source – email received in my Office. I request Editors to Approve this Resource.
So Members, I think we can help our Country at least by doing this favour.
I would like to say that if you can not implement the steps in your organisation please implement it at your own seat, as the individual initiative also makes a big difference.
Oh yesterday I spent my whole Sunday at office working for some urgent project. I spent more working hours than regular working days but I know that I will not get any appreciation/benefit benefit for the same although I burned the fuel of my own vehicle for official purpose and in between need to change punctured tyre of my two-wheeler for which I have to spent Rs.40 extra. Now I am planning to claim for all the fuel burnt for official purpose in last two fortnights to save my pocket.
I am back after spending Diwali Holidays at my hometown. I have talked lot with my family members, relatives and enjoyed the festival of light. Its really awesome. Although it is little bit extra expenditure this month.
4 days pending office work is waiting for me so i need to push extra effort but happy.

When anyone is under stress and feel frustrated what he/she is supposed to do? When he/she is working hard handling multiple jobs without any support system and not getting proper reimbursement for his/her services. Every time whenever boss seems some problem he assigns that job to that particular person and that men completes it but Boss do not say a word of appreciation and don’t make a comment about his/her salary. Any job which has to complete on urgent basis is given to that person and he/she completes it but appraisal is done for others. He/She think about a change but due to educational limitations he stops down. What step should be taken to make his career better. Should he/she start some business? Please suggest the some ways.
